which pistol for stubby fingers
I am looking for a concealed carry pistol but I have stubby fingers. Today I was at the local gunshow and tried an assortment of small revolvers and pistols, under $300. The Mackarovs and such are just to long for my trigger finger. Any suggestions? I'd like to not spend more than $400.00. Thanks.

Some of the SIG Pistols have an in the lenght adjustable trigger. And Heckler& Koch has the P30 wich is a good pistol for defense. Very accurate and has 15 rounds of 9mm in the magazine. Try it if its possible.

you might look @ a S&W mod 36 in .38spec or a S&W mod 60 in either .38spec or .357 mag. By your question, it appears that you are unfamiliar with handguns, a revolver is easier to learn to handle ,shoot & maintain for beginners usually. There is no manual safety to forget to take off in a moment of stress.
A S&W mod 42, has a concealed hammer & has less to snag on in clothes etc.
Don't get me wrong, I carry a Colt 1911A1 in .45ACP, a Browning HiPower in 9mm,a S&W mod 29 .44mag 4", and a Walther PPK in .7.65mm, on a regular basis too, but have to admit that the little S&W mod 36 Chief's gets carried alot due to its size, with PlusP .38 spec loads, I don't feel undergunned.
Try to shoot a variety of pistols both revolver & semi-auto to see what you shoot best, and what you feel the most comfortable with.
Hope this helps.

Is your hand smaller than a 10 year old boy's? My son can shoot my 3rd Gen Glock 17 just fine and he's not a big kid.
An older generation Glock without the finger grooves is a bit slimmer and you can probably get a used one in the US in your price range.
