    according to this table...

    .30 Caliber (.30-06 Springfield) Ammunition
    ...
if you wanted to fabricate a rfle grenade round you pull the bullet on a standard round, pour out half the powder and crimp or otherwise seal the top like with wax. of course, this is posted for academic purposes only. old f*rts like me shouldn't be messing around with 50,000 psi.

    Yep sure am

I know where one is at a local gun shop, but it's part of his display and won't part with it. It's the only one of its type I've seen around here.

as near as i can tell the 'plunger on the launcher doesn't push the poppet valve on the GCL screw down unless you push it down.
    might need a special screw
    any inputs?
    thx,
    goo

It should push it in on assembly with a M7

M7a1, M7a2 and M7a3 launchers have a spring loaded feature that disengages the valve when the projectile leaves

the weight of a mounted projectile should force the launcher assy down thus opening the valve and closing valve after launch

If you have a a1,a3 of a3 be sure the spring on the bracket end is not stuck

also check valve is free to move
