Nice router work, too bad it is the wrong shape.

Routing work OK, but trying to get the cigar finger grooves is tough. Sellers name is spot-on! But buyers name will be "afoolisborn". This auction bears watching, sorta like a train wreck.

What is interesting to me is that Miltech 1903 and 1903A3s sell in the $1300-1400 range, retail. I'll be this guy doesn't get a fraction of that, if he gets a bid at all. You could get an awfully nice M1903A3 or a very decent 1903 for that price!

I could do with fewer bulges, but that scant stock NEEDS one right behind the trigger guard to make things right.

It takes some cojones to use that handle. I find it insulting. Maybe AA could switch it to boneheadseller.

I know I guy that would buy it. He has a closet full of "collector grade" Mitchell's Mausers. All matching numbers too.

The serial number does not look right. The "3" looks to be etched on. It looks nothing like my RIA 03. It may be the angle of the picture, but I would want a written return policy on this one.

Retouched SN
What it looks like to me... is that refinishing made the SN faint and shallow and they touched it up with an electric vibro-pencil. If you look closely the 3 has doubles line and the 1 extends below its base. Very likely the other numerals have been "enhanced" by following their impressions with a vibrating pointy object.
