I would like everyones opinion.
I have been asked if I would bring the National M1
Carbine show that I had in Birmingham Alabama a few years ago to Dallas Texas. Is there any interest and would you attend. We have talked about September 2010 show in Dallas. I would like to get some input from you guys on if there is any interest?

Hello PBI,
I've already figured out my route !!
Pretty sure I have a place to stay also.
Just hoping it will be early in September.
I'll be sticking a arrow in something here come Oct 1.
Be nice to see this workout where you don't have all that 'Out of pocket cost' to get it started.
Driving Directions from Williamston, MI to Dallas, TX

Let me know when the doors open and I will be camping out in line the night before. Too bad the lead time to set it up is so long - I would settle for this September if the logistics would have been possible!

I would bet you'd get a good showing from the guys/gals here in San Antonio! Cowboys and Carbines!

Think you could bring a show up towards Camp perry sometime? or Ohio gun collectors?

Curt,
I'm tossing around the idea of taking the motor home. You could always meet me and ride along.

Weather report
BTW how's the weather in Texas in Sept? Hot, hot hot, or hot hot hot humid?

Jim,
Its all relative. Its cooler and a bit more breezy than in July and mid-August. I'm guessing it with ONLY be about 95 for a high with 95% humidity. We don't let it get "cold and dry" like you do in California. We go through alot of grease (vice oil) on the carbines when going to the range - so bring an extra supply.
Oh, and none of those burmuda short pants with black knee socks that shout "tourist". But a good Stetson, some Levi 505 jeans and a pair of boots will make you fit right in! Harley's are welcome and everyone bring your golf clubs and a BIG appetite for steak.
Seriously, the whole idea has me so excited that I want to pop open the safe and start cleaning firearms!
