Approx. Value of CMP CG HRA & SA

I purchased two great CMPicon rifles at the end of '08, HRA & SA, both CG and original to boot, gorgeous; has the value gone up any on these guys? CMP price was $950. Thanks

When you say "Original to Boot", as correct grades vice collector grades, what makes you believe they are original rifles???

The term "CG" can be taken as "Correct Grade" or "Collector Grade". Those are CMPicon terms and the difference is the originallity of the parts. In your case the CMP is saying, by grading them "Correct Grade", that one or more of the parts are not original to that gun.
Example: I have a "correct" 7/44 gun. I know the gun is correct and I think the gun is all original (Collector Grade). Pilot is asking how do you know it is original. You don't.

Devil Dog, what would you be doing now if your D.I. heard you calling your "rifle" a "GUN".

Value and "what will it sell for" seem to mean two very different things lately. A Win 13 just sold on G.B. for $ 7500.00. Does that indicate that all Win 13s are now valued at $ 7500.00 ? I don't think so.
As far as a Correct Grade H&R that CMP sold for $ 950.00, in my opinion, some are worth less, maybe just a bit more than SOME service grades. On the other hand, some of the extremly nice ones I have seen may sell for more than $ 950.00. If by value, you are asking " how much could I expect to get for it ?", the only way to find out for sure is list it on an Auction site and see what the market will bare. IMHP

That was a long time ago. There was a big difference between a "rifle" and a "gun" back then......less of a difference as you get older.
