Photo file size limits

I have some pics of a carbine conversion I would like to post, however they are all about 425 kb in size. The limit for a jpg for posting here is 195. Is there a way this limit can be increased??

I don't know about that, but you can resize your pictures to work.

Note the free Microsoft program specifically, mentioned in the first link. This FREE PowerToy enables you to resize one or many image files with a single (right-click) I use the 800x600 mode for resizing with it and it gets small pics for easy uploads, yet maintains excellent resolution and details for Internet viewing ..... and it's FREE !!!!
