Are you referring to the scopes used on the A4? There were several scopes used on the A4, from 2.5 power (Weaver) to 4 power (Lyman). The Marine A1 used a 7.8 power Unertl.

To the scopes mentioned by Jim above you could add:
M1903 - World War 1
M1908 Warner Swazey - 6X
M1913 Warner Swazey - 5.2x
A5 Winchester - 5 x
M1903A4 - Post War
M84 - 2.2x
Although all original M1903A4's had their receivers marked "03-A3" the A4's were not assembled from completed or 'specailly selected' A3's. They were all built as separate rifles from the ground up.
There were exceptions but the telescopic sights used by most combatant's sniper's duriing WW2 averaged between 2.5x and 4x.
