Reminds me of the days when CMP
required us to shoot a service match to be able to order rifles from them. The longest distance was 600 yds and shot prone position. A lot of regulars were using ARs. Fortunately at that distance we were allowed a couple of spotter shots. Can't imagine 1000 yds. That is fantastic shooting. I do not hand load, but also have had excellent results with Hornady ammo.
Nice Toyota truck BTW.

Ernest "mag30th" kindly gave us permission to post his videos here. They show him engaging an 18" steel plate at 1000 yards with his M1D Garand sniper rifle. Some very nice shooting with some very old milsurps.
