I believe that the M2 in common with most US buillets has a tangant ogive.

Nothing so sophisticated. Bullet's specs are given by Hatcher. For my problem, I needed the bullet's diameter as a function of its height. Given the type of ogive, this profile is easy to calculate. As a check, I could use it and the material density to calculate pretty closely this bullet's nominal weight of 150 grains. It works.
