Hi All,

Yep
I have been in contact with the seller, and it is an Israeli built one.
There are no other markings on the scope other than described the Hebrew letters and the numbers on the 2 dials. Therefore I think it must have been made from a No 53 or 42,
His reserve is very high at $1898.

The scope is an Israeli built scope and am just now attempting to get in touch with the company that made it. I have one on the bench right now and have it stripped and just refitting some lenses. The outward appearance to a 32 is where it ends. Nothing in the mechanism is close to the 32 other than ocular lenses and rector cell and OG. The reticle block is something out of a science fiction magazine and so is stripping it. Contrary to popular believe it was not Nimrod who build them but a small optical company in Tel Aviv and just waiting to hear back from them. I was able to source them through an old acquaintance in the Israeli embassy in London England
. More when I get some definitive info.. The tube is a brass tube and most of the movements are also brass with a small number of steel parts.

E-Bay is an evil, anti-firearm ownership, empire that financially supports the people who don't think you should be allowed to own any firearm. Buying or selling there gives money to those people.

for Jmoore
Do you know much about the Israeli No4 Ts?
I have one and I shoot it with a 32 mk11 scope on a sarco mount, and
Israeli pads, I get groups well inside 1.5 cm at 50 meters as
I have only just mounted the scope, I will be moving out to 200 meters today as I am setting up for a competition in 2 weeks,
2 interesting points
The 4 mounts I have, a sarco,a Roger Paynes,an IWS and original Canadian
all fix and line up properly,
The second point, the barrel is tight in the wood work, i.e. is does not move when I push in opposite directions to the wood as on my Longbranch.

Sorry, only have seen a couple, and don't own one. Any more, its almost getting to the point where its cheaper to buy a complete scope/rifle package just to get the scope and bracket. Buy a scope, get a free rifle (just not the one that goes w/ the scope.
That particular Israeli scope is interesting in that it's an "in country" build, not just a reworked British
unit. Still, unless you've a rifle to park under it, it's mighty pricey just to have for academic study. I can barely afford to play this game anyway!

I was under the impression that evil bay was a publicly held company. They list tens of thousands of fire arm parts and accessories. I find it's an excellent source for hard to find parts, used parts, new old stock and antique parts.

Yes I do have an Israeli No 4 T, would love an Israeli scope for it, I will just have to put up with my 32 mk11.
I also find ebay good for finding things, but I do find that the prices are over the top, so I use it for research and buy when I really am happy with the price and kick my self for having waited and missing a bargain.
ebay is here to stay and we need to realize that everything is now going to be affected by the price people will pay.
