M76
Looking at The Shotgun News, I have noticed dealers selling a repro M76 for $75. Wonder what the originals would sell for ?

It all depends upon your finding a guy that wants the real deal. I have been selling original military items for close to 40 years and the last 5 years things have changed.
The older generation is dying off and 98% of the younger generation could care less about whether an item is original or repro. They constantly purchase Chinese and India imports for their M1
's and other mixmaster rifles/carbines they own.
The fact is today 98% of today's market has no connection with our military, the units that served, and the equipment that protected us.

Too true, Bill. Without George C. Scott, nobody would know anything at all about Patton. Many of today's collectors get their information and motivation from Hollywood. We have to be grateful for the good ones like BOB and Pvt Ryan.

Most are to hyper, don't care about anyone but themselves and always in a hurry having to have it right now. The two parent's working society has really harmed us all. The 70's movement on woman being equal honestly hurt this country. As soon as they started going to work and spending more money everything went up.
I still remember one car families and no gas on Sunday or shopping. Made folks stay at home and be with each other. Rick B
