No.3 Mk1*(T)A with PPCo scope
Can't remember if I have posted these before but if anyone ever doubted Ian Skennerton
's view that some PPCo scopes were fitted to the No.3 (P14) during WW2 by Alexander Martin (July 1940 contract) then here are some pics to prove it. These came from a little know pamphlet titled Field-Craft for the Home Guard - it must be very scarce, printed in Glasgow and used for the loacal LDV units. It is a 96 page pamphlet based on a series of talks given to Members of the Home Guard (L.D.V.) specially selected for employment as Sniper, Obeservers or Scouts. Printed Sept 1940. Author was a sniper during WW1 - A T Walker of the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders.
