Actually Mike, (and Mr. Beard
can correct me if I am wrong). The second one was not limited to conversion rifles but was also used on new production .30-06 barrels, the latest date I have seen one was on a 1908 barrel, also having the early open rear sight collar (pin on top).
Good "collection" of parts.
