Another rockola arrived today
Got my 2nd Rockola in the mail today. It's the one hanging on the wall in my Cabana out by the pool. My wife and I built this Bar about 5 years ago, Blood, Sweat, and Tears. I have been eyballing this clock in E-Bay for Months now just waiting to get my Carbine. As soon as I got the Rockola, I ordered it. I love Neon and it sure looks good in there at night time. A fitting place for a picture, dont you think?

Are you sure that it is genuine? The minute hand looks like it has been humped! Did you buy that from a dealer in california?
Seriously, there is nothing better than enjoying a self-constructed recreational area. Hope you and the wife have many years of just watching the clock tick on the wall!

Rustship,
Now all you need is one of these. It is a 1947 Rock-Ola and called the Trash Can jukebox.
I think it is really cool. Looks a little like R2D2 huh? Must have been ahead of it's time.

You are correct, I copied the wrong picture. What a boob.
Here is a 1946 model 1422, the next is earlier but I can remember the year, I think mid 30's. I had the Seeburg, since sold for space, because I liked the look. Could never talk my cousin out of the Rock Ola.

Ever try DonQ Gold? Best rum around. I use RonRico if there is no DonQ handy.

Roger,
My favorite is Appleton Estate V/X, it is their reserve product. We starting going to Jamaica in 1988. Been more then a few times for diving, and tried this rum. They also make a Run Cream. Like a Baileys Irish Cream, but with rum instead of wiskey.
Have you tried the Appleton?
