M1 Carbine Prices - Higher?
I read the thread on Carbine accessory prices being high. Since CMP
ran out of carbines it seems that the price of carbines has risen. A lot of them have been "updated" to include all of the correct mfg parts but even the mixers seem to have gone up.
A friend is wanting to buy a Rock-Ola and they appear to be really high. Am I just out of the loop of prices?

if you look at the resent auctions, most carbines never hit the reserve, the ones that do sell are being sold at the right price for the quality etc

And after S'G' people gave always wanted Rock-Olas. If that is what your friend wants, he'll have to pay what it takes. Don't expect one at an Inland price. Or he can get lucky tomorrow and find one for nothing. You never know. My first carbine was a 4.6 Rock-Ola so I have a sweet spot for them.
Tell your friend the best way to get a Rock-Ola is to buy another and the next week a Rock-Ola will appear. It never fails.
