M2 Stock
Not counting Inland or Winchester, Springfield Armory was the only ones to manufacture M2 stocks, correct?
Bought a fellow's M1
parts cache today and starting to figure out what I got.
Thanks

Ok, Thank you.
Since I couldn't use the process of elimination, went looking some more and maybe have found the answer. Looking at an older thread, found a post about a K in a circle and an inverted number in the slingwell Mr Ricca was commenting on. I had a circle and a inverted 3 but couldn't tell much of what was in the circle. Tried several things to help bring out what was in the circle and finally put some oil in the slingwell and finally saw it clearly. It is a K so that might be one of those Keystone Manufacturing from Boston M2 stocks if that's the case. A nice walnut stock, more of a Type IV look than a Type V. Not a lot of pot belly to it. No car-touche.
On to the next part.
