I think I read estimate of maybe only under 10,000 were actually made or accepted in carb club newsletter

None of statistics of the Greek or Italian
returns show the percentage of to be that high a number. It seems possible a bunch were rejected. I read that somewhere

So some had to be lost in action and some to other countries, So a good guess is 10.000.

No one has a real count as to how many of any maker has survived to today. Guessimates from data sheets, what you see at the shows, things like that are a general clue. And what's stuffed away in grandpa's closet? What is known is Un-Quality guns are hard to come by.

What is "Un-Quality"? I know Underwood made lots of barrels for Qual Hdwr but not sure what this thread is about.

Union Switch & Signal made receivers fir QHMC.
They were marked on the heel UN-QUALITY.
They are a more rare variant and popular because of the name and the way it reads.
WTMR should know the number remaining because he has 3/4's of them!!!

Ok, here is what the second part of the question should be...
Out of those that survived/still exist, how many are NOT imported marked?
