It's not mine, but a buddy of ours, and member of this forum just seems to find these in the woodwork. I think he has Way too much time on his hands. His impressive collection just seems to grow, and he is too Modest. But, I like pictures so here they are.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Yes, you can see two flip sight stake marks.
At one time I liked late block carbines. I have 6,2135xx (the 3 could be an 8) and 62180xx.
His is a lot nicer than mine.

Maybe Rockola got down to some prewar wood for these last ones? The handguard looks like an early style.
I'd love to have that carbine.

That is a beautiful Rock-Ola. When did Rock-Ola start using the type II band? Somewhere around 6 mil?

They transfered in to Rockola from Saginaw, I dont know the amount maybe like 500, 5,000 or so.
