M1A1 seral Numbers

Hi all,

I have just bought a M1A1 Thompson, Auto Ordnance made upper 429 828 and Savage Stephens made lower 255 625.

Anyone got an idea of date of manufacture of both?

This example is British issue, with the side mounted sling swivel on the forgrip!
