I think that's the guy who is on the front cover of the book, "The War".

I never noticed until just now, but it looks like he's wearing rubber gloves.

There is no sign of a glove cuff visible on his forearm. I suspect his hand and arm was moving fast enough, that at a slow camera shutter speed (distant shot, long lens, etc.), his hand appears smooth and rubber-like.

Looks like a glove on his left hand, if that is not one on the right he has some serious forearms. One tough looking Marine!

You're right. I didn't see the wrinkle half way up the left forearm when I first looked at the picture.
