I haven't purchased a sling from him but I did buy an Inland oiler from him the other day. He has II oilers for $35.00 plus $3.00 shipping "Buy it Now" or make offer. I sent him an offer for $28.00 and he accepted, should be here in a few days.

This guy actually has a reputation for honest dealing. He has found a bunch of stuff over there in France
and has been selling at fairly reasonable prices. I haven't heard any complaints.
When they tell you to behave, they always forget to specify whether to behave well or badly!

I have bought from him twice and very pleased with his items. A week to ten days to receive the box. Plan to buy more from him soon.

I bought the bolt tool pawl from him for $12 shipped. It was the real thing, and arrived in just a few days. I would buy from him again. As far as that first link, I've got to look up how big the O in CO. is supposed to be. I've got a hunch it should be the same size as the one stamped 1944. - Bob

Here's some pictures of a sling that sold on eBay in April this year for $147.00 - I don't recall who the seller was. The pictures aren't that great, but looks to be another upper case O. - Bob

The large O is a problem. That sling is a GI sling, but the markings very most likely have been added.
Back in the 1990's many WWII slings were around and the market had a lack of knowledge that most carbine slings were unmarked. Because purchasers wanted marked slings, many were marked with original markings and with markings that never existed. Also to the left of the markings looks like an ink stain which often happens when dealers use a stamp.
Furthermore that 1943 sling markings has very different letters from all of my sling markings I have, or seen in 40 plus years. It is a legit sling, but I have doubts about the markings.
