I would not worry about the weak ejection. It seems to be pervasive in this model. I just sort of lean the rifle clockwise whilst drawing the bolt to the rear. It will kick them out somewhat if you try to rip the bolt stop out of the rifle whilst cycling...
Find some ammo it likes and it out to be quite satisfying, accuracy-wise. Probably going to be fancy schancy match ammo, but you never know until you try all sorts of different stuff.

Nice rifle, I'm sure you will be pleased with the 1922's abilities. I have also acquired a 1922 this spring. It is a MI converted to a MII. My results at 25 and 50 yards were similar, dime sized 5 shot groups off the bench.
