Well all I can say is that is a very nice pistol. It sure is a lot nicer than my Springfield 1911

If it were going to be used as a display pistol, I'd agree. But...it isn't. That's a decision the next guy will have to make.

It was caught while fishing in Big Bear Lake, Ca in 1961. It had a loaded magazine in it and an empty chamber. The barrel, trigger, safety and springs have been replaced. It still shoots.
