A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. There's a check point that's prepared to reach out a bit to engage. Looks pretty miserable though. Over boots and the ponchos speak of nasty weather.

That is very unusual to see an M2 mounted on a jeep. Although you see every jeep in a parade with one or in Rat Patrol, in real life there were very few. The M2 was not meant to mount on a jeep. Shooting one from the M31C mount (which this one is) will tear the floor and MG frame plate to shreds in very short order!

And on front and rear. The jeep only came with one set too.

I'm becoming more and more interested in rifle grenades. I know so very little about them and I just see them so much in pictures of WWII combat. At least in Europe. Seems like I don't see them as much in pictures in the pacific. Did the marines not use them?
