Most expensive Enfield ?
What is the rarest most expensive Enfield? Would like to know or get an idea on price. Then I'll post what someone told me the other day, you'll laugh.

Like how high of a price? $200,000? The other day, I was over at my friend's place. I just met him this summer, super super nice guy. I buy my ammo from him, he has a buisness and runs it out of his house right now. I go there once in a while just to talk guns or ham radio with him. And he likes to talk lol. Bought a really nice 1911 SMLE from him this Summer.
Anyways we were talking guns the other night and I told him that I'd lile to start collecting more old collectable guns. So he goes in the back and comes out with an odd Enfield. Said it was a Calvary Enfield. The top of the barrel was exposed. The handguard only covered the bottom of the barrel. The barrel protruded from the handguard 3 inches or so unlike my SMLE. It had the front volley sight, the back one was missing. It also had the mag cut off. Only markings I saw was G.B. The pric $200,000. OMG, yeah right. I didn't want to tell him that was total BS, just was like oh, ok. He also said it was 120 years old.
He also told me he had a 1903 Sniper for$20,000. Glad I got that SMLE for only $200 lol. Are there crazy expensive Enfields out there?
Are there crazy ex

Never seen a 'proper' WWI SMLE sniper for sale (or a no3t) - they would be very very pricey.
L42A1s with full CES are around £4,500 - £6k in the UK
.

Genuine Australian
snipers and any of the "XP" and No6 series Lithgow "jungle" carbines are going for silly money. Given the total production figures, that is not surprising.
A REAL Canadian
J5550 carbine would be worth a few bob these days as well.
Never mind genuine De Lisles, Charltons, or any of the trials Metfords or Remington Lee trials / "concept" funnies.
What would the couple of surviving Lithgow 7.62 NATO trials carbines with the FAL mags be worth?
How about the Pratt and Whitney "proof" SMLES supplied with the factory gear sent to Lithgow?
.276 Pederson SMLE made by BSA?

Expensive enfield?
The most expensive Enfield is the one that you haven't got, have seen for sale and the handbrake says your cant have without "penalties" being imposed on you by her.
