S and B brass in 303 British
Hi there. Looking to purchase some unprimed S&B brass in 303 British
. Unable to locate any of my favourite Remington here in Oz. Has any body used this before? Reason I am asking is that the old Remington I am used to seems to last very well when neck sized. Have used other brands and for me the Remington definitely was the best. Never used S&B before so just looking for some thoughts before I go and order a few hundred.
Thanks.

If you're just neck sizing it should perform exactly the same after the first shot...

Be aware that the primer pockets on much of the S&B brass is shallow and needs to be cut to deepen it. Can be a pain in the neck if you try to put a primer in a case you missed cutting the pocket deeper on. The brass itself seems to be OK and should last with neck sizing.

Mate I have tried to PM you twice. Doesn't seem to work. I have tried to e-mail you via the forum as well. See how it goes. I am new to the forum and may not be be doing the correct thing.

I just neck-size my .303 brass and I usually only get one reload from the S&B brass. I just don't use it anymore, not worth the problems. I get lots of life from Igman, Prvi, PMP, and HXP brass.

Thanks for that. Will most likely hold off for a while and see if any Remington or PRvi shos up...

I don´t like S&B brass. It doesn´t fit in my case holder as the case rim doesn´t have the same specs as most of the other brass. And (as mentioned above) the primer pockets are dodgy.
