L-42 question
I was doing some light reading in the L-39 / L-42 MOD manual, and in the first paragraph it says the L-42 was made from converted No. 4 Mk1 (T) and Mk 1*'s.
Has anyone seen a L-42* (no bolt release).

Yes,
Some of the Long Branch (T) rifles where converted to L42's, can't recall how many exactly but I think it was around fifteen or so.
Cheers,
Simon.

Well, well, that L-42 transit case that just came up on the site here was 50L0027, which had been painted over. Too cool. IT would be great to see those two pieces put back together.
