look what wife bought at auction last night. I have bought a ton of reloading items an supplies an was out loading them an when i got back wife siad here i bought you this box of knifes an magazines . I had showed her i the clips before sale an said i could use them. well she bought whole box lot for 200.00. Inside was 5 bayonets, 2 clips. 6 odd holesters for snub nose revolvers an a mess kit dates 1917. plus 6 web belts. not sure what all she bought execpt for the 2 clips which i believe are 5 round enfiled magazines. made in englan on square bottom one . 1 bayo is m4 utica other is m1 not sure of the rest. not sure what they are worth. http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k2...ps38c55401.jpg

The top is M1icon Carbine bayonet, second down is M1 rifle bayonet, three bayonets together are 1888 pattern bayonet changed into a fighting knife and two Swedishicon M96 bayonets. Mags are five rd .303 mags like you think...now, did you say web belts?

The MAGAZINES, the left one is for .303, the right one is for 7.62, but you got everything else right !.................

I`m sorry but the one on the right does NOT have enough slant to be a .303, unless it is a 2 or 3 round flush mount !..............

Awesome that your wife bought them for you but I don't think she got much of a deal. Close to a break even although New Yorkers might pay a pretty penny for those 5 round magazines. You might get $50 each for them based on what 10 round magazines are going for. Swedishicon bayonets are about $40 each, same for the Garandicon in that condition without a scabbard. M4 a bit more. Altered 1888, anyone's guess but a hard sell.

I have seen square bottom 10 round 303 magazines. After market production. Makes sense they'd make them like that in 5 round also.

The bottom rig is a Bianchi and the whole set is newer... The other is the old style pistol belt. The dinner kit is something one of the members here has a collection of and he'll pick it apart for you if he sees it. It would be worth opening up and getting details of...
