Help identifying a set of vintage? coats

I picked these up for a extremely good price at the local thrift store a couple of weeks back. Neither of them have any significant labeling, with one exception. The peacoat, in so far as I can research, is USAF, though its specific make eludes me. It has no tags other than it's size, which is 39R. The other one, seemingly a field jacket with a wool liner, completely escapes me. There is a small, faded set of letters/numbering on this one, which I have attached below. Any help with identifying either would be much appreciated.

The field jacket is European, not US.
Yep the over coat (NOT a "pea coat" - that's Navy!) is hair farce.

    Hi

The coat with the wool liner is norwegian. It's a M/51 winter coat. The stamp "HÆREN" means army in norwegian.
