I was there today, didnt even look at the carbines or Garands as I was broke and knew I would end up bringing something home if I looked. Just went up for ammo

We were planning on making the trip in 2 weeks.......Orest changed those plans! Trying to make the trip this Wednesday now. I'll let y'all know if something gets adopted.

I was there this morning
No carbine magazines.
No .30 Carbine ammo.
I was after Garand
Receivers, with or without barrels, but those they had were pretty sad. I did find a Springfield 5.4mil that had a nearly new barrel, a Field Grade. The only part on it that may be incorrect was an HRA bolt.
I did see some nice Carbines, including I-cut stocks. Some of the carbines had really good muzzles. All the Carbine stocks appeared to have been pressure washed to get all the goop off them when returned from Italy

Was there Fri 3-6-09 about 3pm, One rack of IBM's(only one "AO")about 20 Underwoods(no lettered ones)one rack of Sag's, two racks of Inlands, one rack of rack grade NPM and one Serves grade, i would have to say that the Inlands are the freshest rack, others have been picked over , i took home SN#6720xxx with a barrel date of 12-44, it looked to be power washed-and couldn't read stock makeings till i got home, turned out to be HI in sling slot( im more use to IO stocks) triger group all inland excepet triger, and had hand stamped "1" in M1
, this is my latest date one i have, there still more good ones there at north store-Roger
