Inland Trench Guns
Just saw last evening that Inland is manufacturing Trench Guns. Initial thought was cool. Can get a nice display piece that is affordable. Then reality set in, $1200+. No thanks. I'll look for an original for that price.

Did WW2 Inland make their own shotgun? I see the product description of the new Inland claims it's an Ithaca M37 co-project.

No, that's a copy of the ultra rare Ithaca. Inland division of GM made M1
carbines. This company is something new.

Gotcha on the new company, so no shotguns from Inland in period WW2 production, I didn't think so. The Ithaca I did know about, and I see the new guys are just looking to expand their product line and hammer that brand into new production nostalgia guns.

Which is both reasonable and outrageous when you think about it.
A modern military spec Mossberg or Remington has crept up to the $800, so a faithful replica of a scare WW2 piece might be actually worth that given our market adjustment and limited pool of military surplus shotguns. Look at how fast people were gobbling up the Norinco 1897 Trench gun clones, although cheaper, were not much to write home about.

That's pretty funny, considering the ones on issue are right off the shelf with no bayonet lug or any fancies...at least the ones we bought. Go to wholesale Sports and buy a military clone...
I just realized they're going to be $1200 USD, so they're going to be $2000 CDN...
