Love the pic, lots of old gear there...relatively. No doubt about the staging though Two cameras in view and a director, plus the one we see out of. The far M14
appears to have a grenade launcher on it, by the front cameraman...you think? I wonder if that's Coronado Cross-the-bay beach. The inside beach...? That's also where they filmed part of Sands of Iwo Jima.

I remember that VERY well, I was under the rucksack at the time and we were all wondering who would be going. It ended up being our AB regt to Belet Huen and that was much different and disjointed from this whole thing ended up being...
