adapter question

I have had this piece of equipment laying around for a long time and have seen it labeled a muzzle brake, also a grenade launcher I am not that familiar with attachments for the M1 icon

so I really would like to know for sure what it is.

Yes, it's the grenade launcher for the M1 icon

rifle. One of them at least. Nice one too. Put it on a WTS here and watch it disappear.
