Winchester stocks
Hi All,
In Winchester stocks, how would I know which stock to look for, long or short channel, for a Winchester receiver I just acquired?
I thank all you experts out there.

Canfield's book "the M1
Garand Rifle" states that Winchester used the long channel stock until approximately serial number 2,350,000
You could use either short or long channel as you are in the overlap period
