Just picked up this Steyr M95 long rifle from a store I had never been to, that's less than 5 miles from my house. I had a Steyr M95 Carbine that I bought back 2013 for $99 from J&G Sales, then I stupidly sold it for what I thought was a good turnaround for me at $150. I started check last year to get another one to replace it and the damn things have disappeared from the retail market and private sellers want $275-$350 for the carbines. I had actually never seen a full size M95 until a month ago at a store and then I randomly see this one yesterday. I looked online and there isn't much out there about the long rifles. Best I can tell it is not one that was contracted to Bulgaria in WWII. Like many M95 long rifles and al the M95 carbines it was rechambered from 8x50r to 8x56r.
I think I got a good price on a sediment seen milsurp. Not a killer price but a good price.
