Indian No1 mk2 smle bayonets with "JU" marking.
I have seen it suggested that the "JU" marking found on some WW2 manufactured No1 mk2 bayonets, made in India, actually stands for Jhelum Arsenal which was part of India but is now part of Pakistan. Is anyone able to confirm this information, please?

That is correct as far as my understanding. They are also somewhat uncommon.

It's arrived!
Here it is, it's in excellent condition, probably came out of storage in India when they had a clear-out and sold off. It doesn't look issued following a refurbishment.
