LOL
No no, the 5 shot group is legit, If not i wouldnt have posted haha!
The scattered brass is from the M1D shooting we did before the 303.
I can only assume the flier was the 1st shot as I changed my position after shot one from resting the gun on a bag to resting it on my hand (i have a video just dont know how to post it, pics are screened from the video).
I did have only 8 rounds of 303 but 5 I shot here and 3 I gave to the inlaw to shoot at pumpkins left of the target board

Go back after the thaw in say end of spring hopefully there will be a swag of pumkins for you to harvest....
What year is the Ol' Girl it appears to wear a cheek piece just noticeable in your 2nd pic.
The chaps here say the CDN Mk 8 stuff is very accurate which is proven by the results posted here not much chance of that stuff being down under.

I would keep it as it is, there's nothing wrong with a well put together sporter.
It's not as if SMLE's were thin on the ground!

Should be ideal for annoying the owners of over-priced contemporary sporting rifles which won't shoot any better.
Particularly since your HB secret will be safe from 99% of them!
“There are invisible rulers who control the destinies of millions. It is not generally realized to what extent the words and actions of our most influential public men are dictated by shrewd persons operating behind the scenes.”
