that needs serviced. I live in SoCal. Anyone know of a reputable smith?

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. When you say "serviced", what are you seeking? If it is just breaking it down and cleaning, it is actually really easy and there are some great YouTube videos to walk you through it. If it is in need of repair or adjustment, I would contact D-Street Gunsmithing in Riverside (951-675-3532). He is extremely thorough and meticulous and will ensure your Grarand will work safely and properly.

I'm struggling with the vision of a Garand on a hoist, getting an oil change, new brake pads and a replacement fan belt...

Maybe I'm missing something here...
