A guide to collecting German Militaria. (Soft back/magazine)
I spotted this on Youtube recently and so I ordered myself a copy off Amazon. It arrived today and from what I've seen of it so far by flicking through it, for what it is, it looks ok, for the price.
It mention in it anywhere that there are hordes of reproductions of Nazi/Wehrmacht stuff? Just curious.
That would be good to have if it does!
I'll buy pretty much anything I think I can make money on...but just assume anything Nazi is fake and move on down the road.
A quick and dirty guide would be handy.
It does state on the front cover "Spotting Fakes" and this is mentioned within the first minute of the video.
Having a quick look at the Iron cross section, it does give a few "pointers" at spotting fake Iron Crosses. However anyone hoping for a detailed analysis on the subject of fake Iron crosses will, I suspect, be disappointed because the entire publication stands at only 130 pages and it aims to profile the entire subject of collecting German militaria, not solely of collecting Iron Crosses.
