Sometimes it helps to give an indication of where you sourced the item as to whether or not it maybe genuine. For example if it was sourced on a well known internet auction site from a trader in China (No disrespect to China or Chinese people.) then there is probably a high probability that it's a repro. If it came from a source that you've known and trusted for years then probably there is a high chance that it's genuine.

Thank you for your response. This group was obtained from a source with which I've enjoyed years of transactions, namely FleaBay.
The USA
seller in this case apparently deals in bric-a-brac and undoubtedly has no inkling of relevant provenance, so it is what it is at face value.
The R.H.Long pouch and Scovill mag look pretty solid, the real question is with the apparent Colt two-tone magazine, which I'll assume is legit until proven otherwise (no real biggie one way or the other, as the ensemble cost me under $30 altogether).

The pouches look far too new to be 100 plus years old.
There a surprising number of "hits" for a net search for 'R.H. LONG 9-18' though. 4,790,000 of 'em. Some of them are similar, but not exactly the same. Seems that R. H. Long was a contractor for webbing stuff in general.

The magazine pouches are original. I've had many and could barely give them away for $5 each. They're almost always in as new condition too. They must have produced a ton of them. They're a little more valuable now i hope.

Yes the one or two similar pouches that I have in almost new condition were sold to me as originals and I have no reason to doubt that they are.
It all depends on the conditions in which the item, a pouch in this case, has been stored on how well it will be preserved after 100 years.

Yes, they're original, no doubt here either. They made millions of them and they're still easy to find. The mags look good but would like to see them in my hand... Anyway, OP hasn't been here in 13 days...
