Who are they? Could be Norway
, the Germans left tons of equipment when they surrendered, maybe those hats.

in the list of M1s given, but do show 25K "Rifles" in 1963.

1937? Those rifles would be gas traps and they would be the enemy.

MAP figures don't show
Austria
in the list of M1s given, but do show 25K "Rifles" in 1963.
They must have had M1s before then, mid 90s I bought ex Austrian Army M2 ammo with date stamps of 1960 and 1961. The Danes must have had M1s about the same time as they too produced M2 ammo in 1961.[COLOR="black"]
