No5 mk1 Flash hider (again...)

Hi all,

I bought a No5 Mk1 a few years ago without a front sight/flash hider. And now I have the urge to shoot it and find one. I've gone through all of the threads, but the information seems quite old.

I took a caliper to it after visiting Numrich, and it appears to be a real No5, not a converted No4 (.590 barrel OD)... and Numrich has these "ported" flash hiders, but I would REALLY like one with the bayonet lug, reproduction or original.

Has anyone been able to find one of these in 2020? All the threads are old and the links/businesses seem to no longer be around or have any in stock.

Unfortunately, that is for a converted No4.

You'll have to keep an eye for one that's come from a stripped #5 rifle. There just aren't any stocks lying around.

Keep checking all sources constantly one with surface eventually and you will pay dearly for it.

Numrich in the US is the only place I've found. I need three of them for restirations and It's almost impossible to find them now US dealers wont ship to Canada icon

I was missing one and found one "in the white " at a gun show. You never know where your search will end. Took me three years.
