question on #s matching upper and lower
I'm not a FAL expert by any stretch of the imagination but is it strange that a FAL, L1A1 to be more exact I guess, has an upper and lower receiver numbers matching AD prefixed SN but no import marks or other receiver markings (signifying Imbel, DSA, Century, etc)? Would this be a legal import or something the ATF would come knock on your door about?

I doubt it. Just keep a low profile.

You doubt it's a legal import or you doubt it's a problem?

I don’t see it as being a problem. The responsibility of marking the rifle is elsewhere unless you were the importer. Just enjoy it.

Nothing on the barrel either?
The "law enforcement" rifles imported by Century Arms in the early 90s were marked on the barrel.
