McNamara's middle name was "Strange" -- he was a whiz kid from Ford who thought he was the smartest man on earth.

People are strange when you're a stranger
Faces look ugly when you're alone
Women seem wicked when you're unwanted
Streets are uneven when you're down
When you're strange
Faces come out of the rain
When you're strange
No one remembers your name
When you're strange
When you're strange
When you're strange

I can't forget McNamara's saga of cost control with the M-16 by the use of existing powder rather than the rifle's spec and by skipping plating the chamber. Not very keen, in the long run.

The caption to this photo should be, "I will have this situation over by Christmas." LOL PS-- "I did not say what year!"
