what is value of 1903 w rod bayonet top wood handguard only.. just the guard mint
thank you .. i have the part and i have alot of 1903 but none that early.. i was gonna list it and i want to be fair but i have no idea and i cant find any info..

I would suggest posting photos so people get a better understanding of exactly what you are referring to.

Rod bayonet M1903 rifle handguard
Most were dumped, none were modified for the 1903/05 or new 30-06 rifles. The rod bayonet rifle handguard is longer than the standard and without a sight groove as it is very low profile.
Excellent repros were manufactured by the late Ben Rice of Cherry Point NJ back in the 70's and 80'sAttachment 116982Attachment 116981

I don't think anyone can answer your question about value until it can be determined if your handguard is original or not. Also there have been quality
repros and handmade repros without the clip inside. it would be extremely rare to find an original - which bring another question: who would need it ?
I would think that if it is an original in nice condition it should be worth $200 or $300 if someone would be interested
