1903 Sporter - Accidental Family Portrait
FINALLY getting back into selling after a move. Space is tight as things get settled so I just sorta stacked up my sporters at the back of my photo bench.
Accidentally caught this decent pic of, er, most of them while photographing a Hakim. I have one or two stored elsewhere.
Thought some here might enjoy this!
Top to bottom:- Sporterized low-number in 250 Savage with a Weaver K10
- Sporterized 1922. Beautifully shaped Herters stock. Paid full-bore retail for this one but it's sweeeet.
- My eBay special. Sporterized 1.3 million range receiver. Sporter barrel rebored to 35 Whelen. Really nice stock with a Niedner style buttplate. Maybe $500 spent in spurts.
- Springfield Sporter with reworked stock. 30-06.
- Sporterized in 7mm. Niedner plate, bas-relief moose/elk on the floorplate. If the length of pull was a little longer, I think this would be my favorite! Barrel needs finished.
- Sedgley in 30-06.
- Really nice Krag
