Clint Fowler Op Rod Guide Pics?

Does anyone happen to have any pictures of the mysterious Clint Fowler Op Rod Guide? It's part of what he used to do to accurize the M1icon Garand. I have a written description ("The guide system had to be two pieces. The forward piece a circular track epoxyed in the upper hand guard and a lower track silver soldered in the stock ferrule. Both had to be fitted just right. They could not bind the op-rod, but they had to almost touch it, a light slide fit."), but pics would really help...

here is the gas plug part of it

A few years ago I made my own ported gas plug. With out a doubt it makes all my 30.06 and .308 m1s more accurate! I shoot allot of 500yard prone matches and have tested the ported plug many different ways with quite a few different loads. Those of you that are skeptical you need to purchase one and do your own testing. Keep in mind that this type of gas plug in not legal to use in a CMPicon as issue match, but it's ok to use in a NRA/CMP service rifle gun. Clint Fowler use to build M1s with an adjustable volume gas plug, that's where this concept originated.

    Try looking for his book

don't know if this is any good or how old it is

There are no great men, only great challenges that ordinary men are forced by circumstances to meet.
