To my knowledge, no left-handed garlands were every made. Photo's showing lefty equipment are reflections, either by the mechanism of the camera or for print/formatting purposes. Here is how it really happened...
...unless of course he was holding his garand left handed all along. can't tell in the photo. I can't make out the screw head on the bayonet grip - so I think it's a reflected picture.
