Aside from the Thompson I’m not sure what intrigues me more - the hand tools or the wooden-handled spade. Haven’t seen one of those in some time. Thanks for the pic!

Very cool pic, thanks. I see the tripod, I don't see a pintle or T&E for the 1919s or the M2. Doesn't mean its not there, I just can't find it. Too early for the M3 grease gun.

Impressive, but does the crew only have one Thomson MG for close defense?(Not counting their handgun)

Guess it is a bit easier to pop a handgun (1911) sideways out an ajar hatch than try to poke a Thompson out trying to get hull climbers.

There's only so much space in a tank. If you have to climb out fast, such as being on fire, there isn't time for anything except yourself and what you have on you. Outside bins are probably in view of the enemey and too close to the flames and exploding ammo and fuel. Etc.

How about the pistol port on the port rear side of the turret?
