A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Bonnie & Clydes car left side, the police sure poured some lead into it both occupants were hit 20+ times each afaik.

The car is still on display at a casino near Las Vegas. Impressive what you can do when you remove the rules of engagement/arrest.

I was working on billboards at the time, and one of my cool projects was building a gearmotor-to-lever arm contraption behind the board. The front of the board was a huge picture of the "death car" and there was a dead arm holding a hat that swung back and forth from the window. And then we installed it 60 feet above Interstate 15.
